Location & Access

Where is LIT Coffee Bar located?

LIT Coffee Bar is located at Jagowstraße 23, 10555 Berlin-Moabit, Germany. We’re in the Moabit neighbourhood, in the western part of central Berlin — close to the Tiergarten park and Berlin Hauptbahnhof.

The easiest way is to take the U9 U-Bahn line to Turmstraße station. From there it’s a 3–5 minute walk to Jagowstraße 23. From Berlin Hauptbahnhof, you can also walk through Tiergarten in about 12 minutes, or take a short Uber/taxi for around €6–8.

Street parking is available on Jagowstraße and the surrounding streets. Parking is generally free on weekdays and weekends, though spaces can be limited during busy periods.

Opening Hours & Reservations

What are the opening hours of LIT Coffee Bar?

We’re open Monday to Saturday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and on Sundays from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. We serve food and coffee throughout the full opening hours — no kitchen cuts before closing.

Walk-ins are always welcome and we usually have space. That said, we recommend reserving a table if you’re visiting on a Saturday or Sunday, or if you’re coming with a group of 5 or more. You can reserve by calling +49 30 28663057 or emailing contact@litcoffeebar.de.

We are open on most public holidays, but hours may vary. We recommend calling ahead or checking our Google Business Profile for the most up-to-date information on public holiday hours.

Menu & Dietary Options

Is the menu available in English?

Yes — our staff speak English and are happy to explain any dish. Our menu is primarily displayed in German, but this English page covers all dishes with descriptions. You can also ask for help when you arrive — we’re very used to international guests.

Yes, we always have vegetarian and vegan options available. Our Smoothie Bowl, Vegan Bowl, and Shakshuka (classic version) are popular vegan choices. Just let your server know and we’ll guide you through the menu.

We do offer gluten-free options. Please let your server know about any dietary requirements when you order and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Shakshuka is a North African dish of eggs poached in a rich, spiced tomato sauce. Our recipe is inspired by traditional Tunisian cooking and we offer three versions: classic, with merguez sausage, and with pumpkin & potato. It’s one of our most-ordered dishes — highly recommended.

Yes — specialty coffee is available throughout our full opening hours (8AM to 10PM Mon–Sat). We serve espresso, flat white, latte, cappuccino, iced coffee, and seasonal specials.

Prices & Payment

What is the average price per person at LIT Coffee Bar?

A typical breakfast or brunch per person costs between €10 and €20, depending on what you order. A coffee and pastry comes to around €7–9. The Breakfast for Two at €35 is excellent value for a full sharing spread.

Yes, we accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as contactless payment (Apple Pay, Google Pay). Cash is also accepted.

Do the staff speak English?

Yes — our team is used to welcoming international visitors and English is spoken at LIT Coffee Bar. You won’t need to worry about a language barrier.

Absolutely. Around 60% of our guests are visitors from outside Berlin. We’re very welcoming to tourists and are used to guests who are new to the area. Just walk in — we’ll take care of the rest.

Yes, Moabit is a normal, diverse Berlin neighbourhood that is completely safe for tourists. It’s not as well-known as Mitte or Prenzlauer Berg, which means less tourist crowds — and LIT is a great reason to explore it.
